Whether you have come to Bali just to kick back and relax by the pool with a good book, or to experience everything the region has to offer, we are able to help organize many kinds of activities during your stay in Lovina. Here are some suggestions, but feel free to contact us if you have any special requests or interests.
Dolphin tour
You haven't been to Lovina without seeing the dolphins! You can see dolphins swimming in their natural environment by taking a boat out at the crack of dawn. You can book the tour directly through our hotel.

Motorbike rental
Motorbikes are a great way to get around the island. We offer a range of automatic and manual bikes for hire.
Price: IDR 40,000 per day.
Diving and snorkeling
Lovina is a great place to learn how to dive. You can even snorkel just off the coast. Lovina is in the middle of two great dive spots in Bali, Menjangan island to the west and Amed to the east, where you can see the US Liberty shipwreck.
We offer an all inclusive day tour to Menjangan Island for just 300,000 rupiah per person. Contact us for more information about diving in Lovina and north Bali.
Cycling
Lovina is a great place for cycling, with several attractions within easy riding distance. We have two mountain bikes that guests are free to use.
Price: Free! ( Extra bikes can be rented for 25,000 rupiah per day).
Cooking classes
Cooking classes with a difference! Our cooking classes include both Balinese and Sumatran dishes. You can choose from a wide range of dishes that you would like to learn how to cook and of course eat! Some of the dishes include:
Balinese duck (bebek), sate, rendang, gado gado, nasi goreng and grilled fish with Balinese spices.
Price: 250,000 per person which includes all ingredients and the dishes that you prepare.

Books and games
We have a small selection of paperbacks in the restaurant, including the Bali, Indonesia and South East Asia on a Shoestring LonelyPlanet guides.
We have some card games, including Monopoly (card game version), Canasta and Phase 10. Please return any books or games to the restaurant when you are finished.
Movies and television
We have a television in the restaurant which you can watch Indonesian television. We also get just one channel in English - a news channel from Japan. In the evenings the Indonesian channels show some English movies. We also have a large selection of movies and television programs on DVD, which you are free to watch.
Places to visit around Lovina
Lovina is actually made up of several villages along the north coast and they include: Temukus, Kalibukbuk, Anturan, Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Banyualit and Kaliasem. The area with most of the restaurants is Kalibukbuk. Mumbul is located in Anturan. You can cycle to some of the places, but you will need a car or motorbike to get to places that are further out. Contact us if you would like to go on a tour of these places or anywhere in Bali.
Brahma Vihara Arama - Bali's largest Buddhist monastery located near the village of Dencarik, offers fantastic views of the area.
Candi Buddha - Buddhist temple dating back to around the 9th or 10th century. It was discovered in 1994, 5 feet underground and it took the next 15 years for the site to be excavated. You can walk to the temple from central Lovina. At the traffic lights, follow the road which heads toward the hills and Damai hotel.
Banjar Hot Springs - Located west of Lovina, the Banjar Hot Springs are set in beautiful gardens and is a relaxing place to visit.
Air Sanih - East of Singaraja, Air Sanih is famous for its cold water pools - best visited outside of the weekends to avoid the crowds, as it is very popular with local visitors.
Singaraja - Singaraja was Bali's old capital and was the main port of entry to Bali before flight travel. You can still find Dutch buildings in the city, especially along the waterfront.
Pemuteran - Has a good beach and places for snorkeling, west of Lovina. There is an ongoing program to re-establish the damaged coral in the area and there is turtle hatchery program (proyek penyu) worth checking out.
Menjangan Island - About 1-1.5 hour drive from Lovina. One of the best places for snorkeling and diving in Bali.
