FAQs

What does Mumbul mean?

Mumbul means "natural spring" in Balinese.

When did you open?

Mumbul started around 2006 and we took over in January 2011.

How can I get to your place and do you offer transport?

The easiest way to get to our place is to order transport from our driver. He will pick you up from the airport for 400,000 rupiah. This is the price for the whole car - not per person. The other option is to use Perama shuttle bus. You can find directions and maps to our place here.

How long does it take to get to your place from the airport?

The drive takes 2-3 hours, but it is a very scenic drive and there are many photo opportunities along the way.

How far is it to the beach?

It is a short walk to the beach from our place (3-4 minutes).

How reliable is your wifi internet?

We use the internet constantly ourselves. If there is ever a problem we are onto it straight away. The speed is not as good as probably what you are used to in your home country, but it is fairly reasonable and usually adequate for services like Skype.

Does Mumbul have sea views?

No, it doesn't, but all of the rooms look out onto the adjacent rice field. It is quiet and relaxing and not a hawker in sight!

Do I need to pay a deposit?

For us to reserve a room for you, you will need to pay a 50% deposit for your accommodation, which is payable by Paypal.

What if I don't have a Paypal account?

You don't even need a Paypal account to send money. Just an email address and debit or credit card. If you don't have a credit card you can still transfer money to Paypal through your bank account.

How many people does each room sleep?

Each room sleeps two people. If you want to have more than 2 guests stay in the room, the cost is 50,000 rupiah per person, per night. We can provide an air mattress which extra people can sleep on, or you are welcome to share the beds! Kids under 10 can stay for free.

What are your cancellation policies?

You can read our cancellation policies here in the booking policy information.

Do you accept foreign currency?

No, we don't. Please pay in Indonesian rupiah.

Do you accept credit cards?

No, we don't accept credit card payment.

Can you organize dolphin tours?

Yes, we can organize dolphin tours and any other tours around Lovina or Bali. The price of a dolphin tour is 60,000 rupiah per person (fixed price).

How can I get around Lovina?

We have two mountain bikes which you can rent for free. You can also rent a motorbike (automatic) for 40,000 rupiah per day, or you can hire a car with or without a driver.

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes, we have a restaurant which serves mostly Indonesian and Balinese food.

What are your check in and check out times?

We like to keep things as flexible as possible and anytime around midday is fine with us. Please let us know if possible if you are going to arrive late.
