Wonderful time

We stayed a week at Mumbul in March (’11) and had an absolutely wonderful time. Thank you for all the peace and quiet, delicious food and incredible hospitality. It has been a highlight of our month in Bali.

Ammanda, Mike, Katu, Rinni and Madi for this *** 2 weeks . We felt being welcome like family. You look after us so well. Ammanda, your fantastic dishes will be well missed. Katu and Rinni, your kindness made our days. Madi, thank you for your insightful Balinese culture treats. Mike for our evening talks and informations. And of course let’s not forget Abi the doggy! The barbecue you organised for all the guest was brilliant and very kind of you.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay in Mumbul. Originally we booked for 7 nights but since we liked it so much we extended our stay with another 9 days. What we especially liked was the great pool8); the free bicycles which we used every day & the friendly staff. Abby the dog is really cute and funny!:grin The breakfast in the morning was very good too with enough variety if you stay longer than 1 night. We didn’t have lunch or dinner at Mumbul since we preferred to enjoy dinner in the citycentre of Lovina (+/- 10 minutes by bike), but we did enjoy the BBQ one night at Mumul with all the other guests. The rooms are really spacious and it’s great showering in the open bathrooms while watching the stars. We honestly can’t think of 1 negative experience during our time in Mumbul so we definitely recommend it! Thanks all!

Highlight of our holiday

Mumbul was a highlight of our two weeks in Bali. The journey to the north coast is a must, coupled with staying at Mumbul allowed us to experiance the real Bali. Mumbul was better than I expected, great place, rooms, staff, location, room and the food. A credit to the owners. I’ll be back.

Best stay in Bali

The best hotel I stay in Bali. The owners were friendly and helpful. I love the simple interior design of the villa too. The best part was the vast paddy field when you open the door. nature is so near you. We really enjoy the stay there

Happy Stay

I am so happy I’ve been staying at Mumbul Guesthouse. Owners, staff and dog are friendly, the room and the open air bathroom were comfy, big, clean and quiet. The rice paddies just in front are dreamy and very beautiful, the gardens are nice. The pool, even though is small, is just fine, refreshing and so nice. The food and the breakfasts were good, I will be back next year, definitely; many, many thanks!

We stayed at Mumbul in May 2013. It was great. Staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was great and cooked as we ordered it. Room was huge and the outdoor shower was fantastic. Loved the peaceful setting.
